Quality & Trust

Was able to get a one hour coaching with Coach Nguyen Ho and it was definitely one of the highlights of my visit in Da Nang. I wish I had more time to go back. Coach was very fluent in English so foreigners won’t have to worry about communicating. He focused on what I wanted to learn, and I was able to apply it when I came back to the Philippines. Would definitely come back if given the chance!

Had two 1 on 1 coaching sessions for 2 hrs with Coach Ho. Really great tips and will customize your session based on the areas you want to improve on. Perfect for players from the US around the 4.0-5.0 skill set. Coach Ho knows what he’s doing and can explain concepts well.Good price, great experience, and good courts as well.

Coach Ho’s ability to break down complex shot techniques is unmatched. He deeply analyses your gameplay and spots the tiny adjustments, like paddle angle or footwork tweaks, that make a massive difference. Professional, insightful, and highly effective!

I had two lessons with Coach Ho. He is very skilled in coaching pickleball techniques. I booked him to build my foundation correctly as I started out playing pickleball for few months, but without proper technique and just watching Youtube videos. My drops never felt so good before the sessions and I can recommend everyone who wants to step up the pickleball game to try him out. It is worth every cent.

Firstly his teaching method is great. He's fluent in English. I took 8 hours (4 days) of lesson with him. Coach Ho taught me a lot about game mindset and strategy. What I love the most is since both of us are lefties, his coached me how to play specifically as a lefty.

PHUC NGUYEN

Coach Ho is friendly, patient, knowledgeable and technically very strong. He quickly identified my weaknesses and gave clear, practical advice that really helped improve my game. His English is excellent too, which made communication very easy.

Highly recommend both Coach Ho and Picklehead to anyone looking to play or improve their pickleball in Da Nang!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I took one lesson with Coach Ho, and I was a complete beginner.

In the end, I learned a lot — forehand, backhand, volley, serving, body position, footwork, game strategy and dinks. And more than that, he taught how to play better, ex. hit deeper to make it hard for opponents to return a ball. Hit softly and put into the kitchen. Run to kitchen line, and prepare ready or you cannot win a game. Also, I tried to stable my body position, control paddle direction….

The whole process was quicker than I imagined. It seems like I took 6 pickleball lessons compared with my tennis experience.

After the lesson, it was raining outside. I’m super lucky to be here during the rainy season.
